Lake Tahoe
Lake Tahoe is a year 'round vacation paradise. During Winter months, ski at Heavenly Valley (adjacent to Lake Tahoe) or Squaw Valley (within a 40 min. drive from Lake Tahoe). In Summer months enjoy boating, swimming and fun on Lake Tahoe. There are wonderful day hikes and other recreational advantages in surrounding state and national parks. Not to mention the entertainment provided by numerous casinos at or near Lake Tahoe, including Reno.
Air Fare Discounts: Although a few flights fly directly to Lake Tahoe airport, most people fly into Reno, NV (30 min. drive) or Sacramento, CA (2 hr drive).
